Addresses challenges of composition, theory, and practical tools for pursuing publication. Focuses on the production of a final portfolio acceptable for graduate school applications, submissions to appropriate publications, and presenting in readings and other public events. Investigates processes for bridging the gap between generating drafts and moving successfully into the community of active writers.
