A companion course to NURP 2190, NURP 2290 Clinical focuses on the synthesis of the nursing knowledge and skills necessary for a registered nurse to enter practice. Licensing, job seeking skills, professionalism, managing, and legal and ethical issues are addressed. Hours are a concentrated four-week block and are completed as if the student were a full time employee. To enroll, students must be accepted into the Registered Nursing program. This course is part of a required series preparing students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). (Additional fee required)
