Clinical Immunology is an introduction to basic immunology. The course reviews theoretical principles of immunology and provides an overview of using basic immunologic, serologic, and molecular technologies to diagnose disease. Hypersensitivity, autoimmunity, immunodeficiencies, tumor immunology, transplant medicine, serologic detection of viral and bacterial diseases, and immunization and vaccinology will be discussed in detail. Prerequisites: Full Major status in Medical Laboratory Science OR Instructor Consent
