Through lecture, discussion, and laboratory experience, the scientific basis of musculoskeletal rehabilitation involving therapeutic modalities will be examined. Emphasis will be placed on fundamental concepts of tissue healing and pain control techniques, as well as an introduction to cryo/thermotherapy, massage, traction, ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
