  This course provides a comprehensive look at the clinical aspects of exercise physiology by thoroughly examining the relationship between exercise and chronic disease. It provides students with fundamental knowledge of disease-specific pathology and treatment guidelines. The guidelines and considerations for pregnancy and older polulation will be also discussed. Overview of each condition's unique physiology, effects of the condition on the exercise response, effects of exercise training on the condition, and recommendations for exercise testing and programming are presented in a selected topics format.
