This variable topics course introduces students to genres in cultural and media studies, their distinguishing features, and the dynamics of their development. Genres may include the novel, digital novel, film, television, social media, advertising, music, and the internet. It may be taken a total of 3 times (for a maximum of 9 credits) with different designations.

ENGL 2010 and ENGL 2015
