    In this Beginner Level 1 course, students will improve their foundational grammar skills and become more confident in expressing themselves. Simple structures and sentence patterns used to discuss daily routines, likes/dislikes, identifying things/people, describing objects with adjectives, negating sentences, and asking and answering questions, as well as regular and "be" verbs, are introduced.     This course develops general language vocabulary and introduces learners to academic and career/technical vocabulary at the beginning level. Corpus-based approaches will be used to facilitate learners' vocabulary knowledge development.
