Pre- or Corequisite(s): AUT 1160. Applies the electrical theories learned in the classroom to hands-on experiments and diagnostics. Focuses on constructing and analyzing electrical circuits in both series and parallel configurations. Uses various testing tools, including Digital Volt Ohm Meters (DVOM) and test lights, to measure voltage, current, and resistance, as well as to troubleshoot electrical systems. Provides practical experience in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, testing relays, and diagnosing common electrical issues. Includes hands-on experience that will help students develop the practical skills needed to work effectively with electrical systems in real-world applications.Course Lab fee of $17 for materials applies.Software fee of $33 applies.
