Description:

This is semester one of a two-semester sequence to complete a senior thesis project. In the proposal semester, students will work with a faculty mentor to come up with a research question, complete a literature review to inform that question, generate specific hypotheses and design a research project to address these hypotheses. The student will write up the Introduction and Methods section of a research paper and defend the proposed research study in front of a committee of faculty.
