(IL=Intermediate Low). This is an introductory literature class. In this class, students will learn about Korean authors, about different literary genres and literary movements, and about the cultures and social environments within which these literary works are produced. Students will also learn how to analyze a literary text and how to express those ideas both in oral form and in writing. KOR 3160 may be taken concurrently with other literature courses.
