Required of all majors during their first year.This course provides guidance to help the student successfully navigate their academic career in WSU Department of World Languages & Cultures and its programs. It provides an overview of what it is like to study a second language, as well as an overview of the U.S. language industry and language careers. The course is also designed to help students develop a clearer focus on their educational and occupational goals, as well as creating a sense of belonging in our department, college, and community.
