Recommended Corequisite TESL 1100. In this Beginner Level 1 (A1) course, students develop an understanding of basic spoken English through focused listening. Students learn how to describe objects and people in the world around them. They use simple language to ask and answer questions. Students receive both in-classroom and online instruction to support their language learning. Prerequisite(s):Placement into CEFR Level A1, GSE score 22-29 or TESL 1015, or instructor approval.
