Concepts in Critical Care Nursing focuses on concepts associated with human response to severe illness and injury in the critical care environment. Emphasis is placed upon evidence-based nursing care for critically ill adult clients including pathophysiology, pharmacology, assessment, and problem-solving. Upon completion, the student will be able to identify and describe evidence-based nursing care that contributes to high quality client outcomes. Prerequisites: Full Major status in Nursing
