This course critically examines Culturally Responsive Teaching and the ways in which students can embody this methodology in educational settings. Throughout the course of the semester, students will progress from analyzing the self as an individual to analyzing our roles as educators working within a larger system. The aim of this course is to develop culturally responsive educators who can effectively leverage the skills, backgrounds, and identities of a diverse population of learners in a wide variety of educational settings.
