A First Year Experience course required for Art majors during the students first 24 credits of college course work. Designed to help students succeed in Art and other courses, adapt to college life, and become integrated into Dixie State University. Students will refine academic skills, create and foster social networks, and learn about college resources. Specific emphasis on admission to the Art program, Art major requirements, preparation for Junior Review, expectations for ART 4800 Senior Exhibition, and Art career paths. Multiple listed with all other sections of First Year Experience (all 1001 courses and ENGR 1000). Students may only take one FYE course for credit. Course fee required. FA, SP
